YOUR LEADER - TESSA SMITH

Tessa is a vocalist and vocal coach, performing around the country and working with singers both within Universities and privately.

She has lived in Leeds since graduating from the College of Music (now Leeds Conservatoire) with a degree in Jazz Studies and recently finished an MA in Vocal Pedagogy. (FUN FACT: before moving to Leeds, she grew up in Northumberland, attending the same High School as Some Voices MD Laura!)

Tessa is passionate about helping people discover joy and trust in their singing voices. She loves vocal harmonies, having sung in (and led) choirs for as long as she’d care to remember, and is super excited about bringing Some Voices to Leeds!

I’m really excited about bringing the Some Voices magic to Leeds. There’s something really special about the community you create when everyone is singing great songs in harmony together. I can’t wait to be part of that!
— Tessa, Some Voices choir leader
