Some Voices is a non-audition, contemporary choir that believes singing is for everyone!
All voices are welcome - no auditions or experience needed. Join us to learn original arrangements of songs that you love, and be part of a community who love to make music together.
If you’re new to Some Voices, you’ll be able to try out your first rehearsal for free. Hooray!
STROUD REHEARSAL DETAILS
WHERE: Stroud Congregational Church Hall
Bedford Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 1AY
WHEN: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30pm.
ACCESSIBILITY: Fully accessible venue.
TRAVEL: Just 3 minutes walk from Stroud train station.
PARKING: London Road car park is a level walk to the church. There are also a limited number of disabled parking spaces in Fawkes Place for Blue Badge holders.
TERM DATES: The year is split into 3 terms - Spring (January to April) / Summer (May to July) / Winter (September to December) - with 10 rehearsals each term, plus a half-term break in the middle. You can join at any point in the term if there are places available.

YOUR LEADER - SOPHIE WINTER
Sophie is a singer, conductor and theatre maker. She has worked with Some Voices as a conductor and singer since 2015 and has loved every minute of it! Sophie also runs Some Voices’ wedding choir as well as outreach choirs across the UK.
As a conductor, Sophie enjoys encouraging people to become confident singers, both as vocalists and performers. She moved to Stroud is 2022 and is loving leading the wonderful Some Voices Stroud Choir.
